  1. Make a floor plan, Time required – 15 minutes

    To to find the Feng Shui centre of your home, you will require a floor plan layout of your home. A simple line drawing with door and window openings should work well for this.

  2. Bagua map sketch, Time required – 5 minutes

    Sketch the Bagua map on another piece of paper, or get a print-out of the image below.

  3. Finding your home’s Tai Ji centre – 1 minute

    On a table, place the Bagua map and the floor plan next to each other. Now depending on the Bagua style, you can find the centre.
    For Traditional Chinese Bagua: Match the compass direction of the Bagua map to the direction of your home entrance door.
    For Western Black hat Bagua: Orient the main entrance door on the floor plan with the bottom of the Bagua map

  4. Spot the energy – 5 minutes

    Now with the floor plan and Bagua map in the correct orientation, you can spot the prevalent energy in every room and area of your home.

  5. Spot the missing areas – 5 minutes

    Missing areas in Bagua means the areas which are missing in shape. It can be due to not studying the facts before structuring the house.
